The 2026 Tuxford Time Trial season is under way. Come and join us and take on the 11.3 mile legendary Tuxford Clarion Time Trial Course.

2026 Tuxford Clarion Time Trials commence 20th May

Sign on :– 6.30pm from the Fountain Pub, Lincoln Road, Tuxford, NG22 0JQ

Entry fee:            £5

Start: first rider(s) off at 19:01 from Ashvale Rd, near Linden Avenue Tuxford on the B1164 Proceed to:  Sutton on Trent (Fred is marshalling), where left onto Hemplands Lane, follow the road through Grassthorpe to Turn at: Polly Taylors Road left towards Tuxford, and carry on all the way to Tuxford to Finish at: Tuxford sign, just before the Railway bridge and Tuxford Academy.

PLEASE BE COURTEOUS OF OTHER ROAD USERS, YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY EXTRA RIGHTS TO RACE ON THE ROADS AND MUST OBEY THE LAW.

PLEASE HAVE A FRONT AND REAR LIGHT AND A HELMET.

PLEASE RESPECT THE LANDLORD AND OTHER USERS OF THE PUB, WE ARE WELL SUPPORTED BY THE FOUNTAIN, SO PLEASE WHEREVER POSSIBLE PURCHASE A DRINK AND NOT JUST BORROW THERE TOILETS.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN TURNING LEFT OR STARTING AND STOPPING. WHEN PEOPLE SWING LEFT IT IS NATURAL TO SWING OUT FIRST, THIS CAN KILL YOU IF A CAR IS BEHIND SO LOOK BEHIND FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY.

HEAD UP AT ALL TIMES, YOU CAN BE DISQUALIFIED FOR RIDING WITH YOUR HEAD DOWN

NO DRAFTING – IF CAUGHT YOU MUST LET THE OTHER RIDER GET 100m IN FRONT BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO CHASE THEM BACK, DO NOT SIT ON ANYONES WHEEL, THIS IS ALSO A DQ MATTER.
